Every order is shipped using cardboard boxes, compostable bubble wrap, and biodegradable/compostable tape. We will continue to look to improve our packaging as we grow.

New Zealand:

COLOURFUL CERAMIC PLATES

Our colourful ceramic plates were the first product we worked on for the brand. We felt like there needed to be more vibrancy in dinnerware to match the fulfilling moments of bringing people together over food. We saw more than tablescapes for our plates though and always had the vision of them being multifunctional plates.

We purposefully created them at 20cm wide so that they could be versatile; small dinner plates, side plates, jewellery dishes, candlestick holders, paint palettes, and wall decor are all ways we use these ceramic plates in our own home. Buy as a plate set or singular. We also love mixing and matching the colours.

We started with green plates, orange plates, and purple plates, and have recently added blue plates. Colours we want to carry yearround and that we see as core colours of our plate offering. We don't want to create a need to update or change plates frequently and want to promote caring for our plates and having long term.

All of our plates are ceramic plates, more specifically stoneware

Stoneware is a more specific type of ceramic. Stoneware is made of more dense clay and is fired at higher temperatures meaning that is is more durable. We chose stoneware as we while all ceramics are fragile we wanted our plates to be a bit more durable than other options.

All of our plates are dishwasher safe! In general we do prefer to gently handwash after use but that is just personal preference!

Our plates are all 20.3 cm in diameter. 2.2 cm in height. We very intentionally chose this size so that they would be multi-functional plates. At 20.3 cm we find they are the perfect size for being used as both side plates and dinner plates. They also are the perfect size to be used as home decor. They can be used a jewellery dishes, candle holders, or even as a statement piece on a gallery wall.
