WHAT ARE THE 2026 HOME DECOR TRENDS AND HOW TO INCORPORATE THEM INTO YOUR HOME

Stepping into 2026 there are a lot of home decor trends we are carrying with us from 2025 while there are new ones emerging as well. For us we always look to fill our home with items that have longevity and sustainability that will stand the test of time to reduce overconsumption, however we also love seeing how current items can fit in with new trends. Here are a few of our favourite 2026 home trends and how you can incorporate into your own home.

Colour Drenching and Colour Stacking

In 2025 we spoke more about "Dopamine Decor" and "Bold Colours" where for 2026 we are looking more at "Colour Drenching", "Colour Stacking", and "Fun Haus". We are loving seeing entire rooms being colour drenched including the ceilings, stacking of different colours, and fun circus type stripes.

One thing we love about with this trend is it is highly personalised as to what colours you want to use or pair together. We love our colourful ceramic plates for colour stacking and pairing bright colours together using home decor. The plates can be used for dinner parties, food displays, or across the house as colourful accent pieces.

Shop Small

We had this on our list last year and are leaving it on our list of "trends" this year. The way this trend has progressed for this year is just that not only are people looking to "shop small" and shop with small businesses but also looking for home decor pieces that are unique to that small business. We keep this in mind with all product that we offer always trying to offer a unique POV in the homewares space.

Our ceramic plates are all custom designed with our brand name and bright colours unique to our shop which makes them statement pieces for the table. 

We also look to support other local and small businesses where we can which is why we were excited to work with a local metal manufacturer to bring our Stainless Steel Serving Board to life along with another local business for our risers that we designed to pair back with our serving boards. We love this new product again as a unique offering in the homewares space.

We also offer prints of our own photography pieces, this is something unique you can't get from any other store and can't be replicated which we love for wall decor because it keeps individuality in your space instead of becoming generic.

Chrome and Cool Metals Home Decor

Chrome and cool metals we saw in 2025 and are entering into 2026 strong with this trend as well. We love this trend so much we expanded our chrome home decor offering. We started with the Blue & Chrome Plate which has chrome lettering and a chrome rim on the plate. We love how it pairs back to chrome accessories. In our home we pair this plate back with other chrome home items such a a chrome side table and chrome vases and bowls. We also introduced our Spiral Cutlery which is made of stainless steel embracing the metals trend with a unique twist. Finally at the end of last year we introduced the Stainless Steel Serving Board. This locally made serving board is a sleek modern update to traditional wooden platter boards. It is a perfect chrome addition to table scapes and dinner parties.

Vintage Inspired Home Decor

We have introduced this trend for this year as we are loving the look of vintage style home decor mixed with modern pieces. Our Spiral Cutlery we love for this trend as its a modern product adapting the spiral trend with a vintage feel to them. They are a perfect table accessory that add interest to table settings.
